Carrot Cake and Storms

I decided to make a carrot cake last night. I wanted something sweet and I had all of the ingredients to make it. Elisa was home with me and she was excited about getting some carrot cake. I put the usual flour, sugar, butter, and eggs in the bowl. When I started to grate the carrots, Elisa stopped me and said, "You put carrots in carrot cake?" She still enjoyed the carrot cake even though it had carrots in it.

The highlight of the night was the storm that passed through our area. Elisa and I filmed some short clips of videos from our cell phones. And Jay discovered how to record videos with my digital camera. I have only had the camera 5 years, I am glad he was able to figure it out.
