Elisa's 8th Grade Graduation

It's official...Elisa has graduated from the 8th grade. She will now be attending Chelsea High School in the fall with Jay. She is beyond excited. Jon and I are thrilled not to have to deal with the middle school traffic. Somehow Elisa had the middle school principal sitting next to her during the graduation, but that didn't stop her from talking to him and her friends behind her. She was the only student to do a little shimmy dance up to the front. When she was shaking the teachers hand, she also made some goofy look. Elisa gave her "death" stare to her least favorite teacher/substitute.

The high school has no idea what is coming their way in the fall....

This is Elisa's good friend Austin. She calls him "Gleason" and  they say they're getting married soon.

Her soccer buddies. They call themselves "ABC" and this picture is a tradition.

She likes to scare horses.

There goes her dance.

...and her goofy faces to her teachers
Now here's some of her favorite pictures from 8th grade...
Elisa and Jada before going to a haunted house.

For Homecoming she made a shirt for her friend Michael Waller.

Elisa and Sarah before trick or treating.

Elisa and an old friend Melody got to spend a weekend together in Atlanta.

Elisa and Jada again.

Yes, Elisa is the one in the blue. She has the spirit stick in this picture.

The cheer banquet, the blue hornet was invited too.

Hannah, Elisa, Sarah, and Kaylyn on top of our neighborhood  entrance.

This was her JV soccer team this year. She is #45.

A good friend from soccer named Katie.

Jay wanted a picture with the blue hornet too.

Elisa, Haley, and Ally after a school event called "OC" where they got all muddy.

Our old ward after a stake dance.

This is her friend Katie again. This is how they always react to seeing each other.

My kids after their soccer banquet this year.

My kids have swagger.

Elisa and her friend Madison after "OC".

Elisa at the beach when she went with a friend for Spring Break.

The traditional ABC picture again.
Elisa's graduation reminded me of my 8th grade graduation. I had the coolest dress ever that my mom made for me.
